Privacy Policy — BWT Employee Portal App

BWT LLC (“BWT,” “we,” “us”) operates the BWT Employee Portal mobile app for use by our own employees and contracted drivers. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it’s used.
Who this app is for
This app is an internal tool for BWT LLC’s drivers and staff. It is not available to, and does not collect information from, the general public.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, employee/driver number, and role, as maintained in BWT’s internal employee records.
- Schedule and payroll data: route assignments, work schedules, pay period records, and related requests (advance/refund requests) that you submit through the app.
- Messages: messages you send or receive through the app’s Contact and WhatsApp Messages features, including who sent them and when.
- Fleet and compliance data (staff accounts only): vehicle records, compliance documents you upload, and related metadata.
- Device information: basic technical data needed to operate the app (e.g., push notification tokens), if notifications are enabled.
How we use this information
Solely to operate BWT’s internal driver and dispatch operations: scheduling, payroll, fleet management, safety/compliance tracking, and internal communication. We do not sell or share this information with third parties for advertising or marketing.
Where data is stored
Data is stored on BWT LLC’s own private servers and is accessed by the app over an authenticated, encrypted connection. Uploaded documents (e.g., vehicle compliance scans) are stored in a protected, non-public location.
Data retention
Data is retained as long as needed for BWT’s business and legal recordkeeping obligations (e.g., DOT compliance records, payroll history).

Children’s privacy
This app is not directed at children and is not used by anyone under 18, consistent with BWT’s employment eligibility requirements.
